Matt & Rebekah’s Lakeside Engagement Session

Matt & Rebekah spent several years walking across Mount Union’s campus…probably passing each other multiple times…but they never knew it.  It wasn’t until they started dating years later that they realized how many times and places they had likely nearly met.  It’s most ironic because they so clearly belong together.  When they finally did meet they spent hours talking, closing down the restaurant.  Their wedding is set for next July and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

Tara and I had a great time on their engagement session.  We met in Rocky River and spent the evening capturing them on Lake Erie and the surrounding park.  We also traveled to Mount Union and Glamorgan Castle.

Benn & Carolyn’s Park Engagement Session

When Benn contacted Carolyn to ask her out, she recognized him instantly.  They had almost met years earlier.  Benn was the hot nurse her friend couldn’t stop talking about.  She even considered meeting him but life took a different course and their paths didn’t cross…yet.

Now, all these years later, they did meet.  They spent their first date talking for hours and haven’t looked back since.

We met at the studio for Carolyn’s complimentary hair and makeup (Tara does an amazing job, doesn’t she?) and then headed out for Wingfoot Lake Park.  The weather was perfect and so was the light.  We were able to capture some amazing moments.  Benn & Carolyn are getting married next month and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

Home & Park Family Session in Canton

Brian & Jen have taken advantage of my Baby Plan.  That means I will get to see this cutie every few months to capture her growing.  I get to work with so many families that become so dear to me and this family is no exception.  I was lucky enough to photograph Brian & Jen’s wedding a couple years ago.  And now, watching them as a family is a special blessing.

We started the session in their home.  I recommend home sessions to really capture the everyday moments of your life.  It’s fun to look back and remember things as they were when as little one grows.  We then traveled to a nearby park in Jackson for a different look.  It was crazy windy that day but we still managed to get some great shots.  Don’t you think?

On Location Family Photographer

Time & time again one of my favorite parts of my business are the people I meet.  I get to work with some wonderful people and many become life friends.  Julie is one of these.  If you follow the blog, you may remember Julie and her family from last year.  I was thrilled when she called again to set up another session.  And, not surprisingly, just like last year the photos were gorgeous.

Check out the adorableness.
