Brian & Dayna’s Gorgeous O’Neil House Wedding

“What greater thing is there for two human souls
than to feel that they are joined together to strengthen
each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow,
to share with each other in all gladness,
to be one with each other in the
silent unspoken memories?”  –George Eliot

Brian & Dayna chose the amazing gardens at the O’Neil House in Akron for their wedding ceremony.  The sunset was perfect as it back lit the couple during their vows and we had a great time capturing all of it.  Thank you to this amazing couple for allowing us to be a part of their day.

Water’s Edge Vineyard Wedding

We are so lucky in Ohio to have so many beautiful wedding venues…and Water’s Edge in Louisville is definitely one of them.  The Great Hall and Ballroom are surrounded by the beautiful grounds that offer gorgeous vignettes all over the property.  Guests can choose to stroll through the vineyard, sit by the lake or enjoy the covered pavilion.  The Hall and Ballroom both provide a modern and simple backdrop that would compliment almost any wedding decor and colors.   And the best part (for me anyway) is the venue photographs beautifully!

Just to prove it to you….here are some of my favorites areas on the grounds and hall taken from Matt & Becka’s wedding.

Anthony & Stacey’s Canton Wedding at St. Peter’s Church & La Pizzaria

Anthony and Stacey took their time meticulously planning a full day of celebration for  their wedding.  It was absolutely beautiful and all of their hard work definitely paid off!  The morning began in the Villas of the always gorgeous Gervasi Vineyards in Canton. After the wedding party and family were dressed, we headed over to St. Peters Catholic Church in downtown Canton, a grand historic building which is dear to Stacey’s heart as she teaches in the school there and attended as a child.  As the church filled up, the girls stayed cool in the limo outside making sure the bride was hidden until the perfect moment when she walked down that long beautiful aisle.  After Anthony and Stacey officially became Mr. and Mrs., the whole group headed back over to Gervasi for some great group shots.  One of our favorite parts of a wedding day is when we get the bride and groom separated from the group so that we can capture them enjoying some quiet moments together in the midst of their very busy, exciting day.  Anthony and Stacey were no exception and we hope these are images they can cherish for years to come.

In the midst of all this, guests were making their way to the dinner reception held at La Pizzaria in North Canton.  Upon entering they were greeted by delicious appetizers and a live saxophonist setting the mood for a great night.  It’s always fun to see the special couple, family, and wedding party relax at this point of the day knowing that they are surrounded by love ones who can’t wait to celebrate and get the party going.  After dinner, cutting the cake, and first dances were over, another very special moment took place–and it was definitely one of my favorites. Stacey’s grandma turned 93 the day of the wedding and of course the thoughtful bride planned a little surprise for her.  I think her grandma was trying to figure out why people had started to gather around but you can tell by the look on her face that she was not suspecting a cake and singing in her honor!  What a sweet moment for everyone to be a part of.  As the night went on, we had a great time capturing all of the fun everyone was having on & off the dance floor.  It was a great day filled with memorable details and most importantly, a couple who is well loved.

Anthony and Stacey, you have such fun, joyful, supportive people in your lives and we really enjoyed being a part of the big celebration of your marriage!  We wish you all the best in the years to come as you grow in love together.

Kelly & Terren’s Beautiful Stan Hywet and Backyard Wedding

I feel so lucky to have celebrated yet another special day, with another beautiful couple. Kelly and Terren held their wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden of Stan Hywet grounds on a warm and sunny day in Akron. The wedding was full of beauty, character, love for each other, and for Star Wars! The couple walked down the aisle to the theme song and the rings were carried by a Darth Vader pez dispenser. The day could have not been more perfect, as you can see from the pictures and smiles.

After capturing some precious moments, we traveled to Terren’s parent’s house for a fun backyard reception. The beautiful centerpieces and bouquets, of pink and gold, were made by the bride, Terren, and added such a special touch to the decor. The remainder of the day was filled with wonderful food, gorgeous scenery, and bright smiles. Family and friends shared smiles, laughter, dancing, and love, with the newlyweds. I am truly glad I got to be a part of and witness this very special day.

Congratulations Kelly & Terren!  I hope all your years together will be as happy as this day.
