Mitch & Becca’s Canton Engagement Session

When I woke up to rain I knew the chances of an engagement session were slim.  Both Mitch and Becca live out of town so rescheduling would be tough, but without a good indoor option we were all out of luck.

Fortunately, they made a last minute connection and were able to get us into the Onesto Hotel in Canton.  It was built in 1930 and ran for 40 years before it closed its doors in the 70s.  It is currently being renovated and eventually will be amazing, for now though, it’s a photographer’s dream.  We also grabbed a few moments at The Canton Club before running back to Becca’s parent’s house for a some in their gardens.  We were short on daylight…but we got some great portraits just before the night completely took over.

Steve & Jen’s Athletic (and Funny) Engagement Session

When Jen saw Steve standing in the grass with a puppy, she really had no idea what was going on.  All of a sudden Steve was on one knee proposing as she slowly realized this was to be their dog, the land was theirs to build on, and Steve was asking to share it all with her…forever.  She (of course!) said yes and I am fortunate enough to be working with them for their May wedding.

Jen really wanted a fall session and we had a lot of fun at Wingfoot Lake Park in Suffied.  They are both into football and outdoors and this seemed a perfect place.

Mini Golf Engagement Session at Wingfoot Lake Park

We wanted to capture Don & Jackie’s love of fun…so an engagement session at Wingfoot Lake’s Mini Golf Course seemed like the perfect location. They enjoy life and love amusement parks, wineries, theaters, but most of all, they love each other.  …She’s a little more serious and he’s a little more silly.  Together though, they make a sweet couple who clearly adore each other.

Jeff & Kelly’s Adorable Maternity Photographs in Cuyahoga Valley

I couldn’t have been more excited when Kelli contacted me to share that she was expecting and wanted me to photograph her maternity session.  Kelli and I went to high school together and have run into each other from time to time but it was so great to catch up and meet her husband and their little man to be.

Kelli has always been filled with enthusiasm and I was so glad to see that hasn’t changed.  I just know she and Jeff are going to be amazing parents to this little guy.  Jeff & Kelli, I wish you both so many blessings on your new family.  I can’t wait to meet him.
