Don & Jackie’s Winter Wedding in Cleveland

Well, who could have known that Don and Jackie’s wedding day would be the snowiest one of the year? Slowly, but surely, we made our way from southeast Akron to a few beautiful destinations in Cleveland.  Grace Church in Middleburg Heights was beautifully decorated for Christmas and Don and Jackie shared a meaningful ceremony which set the tone for the celebration later that evening.

Following a long & slushy drive, we took a few quick shots at the festive Arcade in downtown Cleveland.  It’s always a gorgeous place to photograph but all the decorations made it especially pretty for this couple’s Christmas time wedding. Despite the wind, snow, and cold, this couple was up for anything and their fun-loving friends kept them going with lots of laughs and goofing around.

After making it through downtown, the party made it’s way to the Cleveland Sheraton.  Once there, the couple and their friends warmed up in the indoor pool area– and had a lot of fun doing so! Thankfully, no one actually ended up in the pool….though I bet that hot tub was looking pretty nice! 🙂 Guests who braved the weather were greeted with delicious hor dourves and drinks which warmed them right up for the party to follow!  It was a perfect way to spend a snowy northeast Ohio winter day and we are pretty sure everyone agrees that Don and Jackie were worth coming out for!  We wish you both all the best as you start your life together-may your love always keep your hearts warm as it did on your memorable wedding day.

Aron & Shuwen’s Gervasi Vineyard Villa Wedding

I feel so fortunate to work with some amazing couples on one of the biggest days of their lives.  It’s a true honor to be invited into their event and capture the day for them.  Aron and Shuwen were one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with.  They so clearly love each other so much and it showed in everything they did.

They chose the beautiful grounds of Gervasi Vineyard outside the Villas for their ceremony and it was gorgeous.  The sun was getting ready to set as they said their vows and the light couldn’t have been more perfect.  They followed their kiss with dinner and dancing in The Villa Grande

Matt & Sarah’s Chagrin Falls Engagement Session

Matt had it all planned out.  He had dinner reservations made, the ring in his pocket, and plans to surprise Sarah at the new home they were buying.  It fell apart a bit though when Sarah showed up at their new home in the middle of Matt’s schemes.  Matt didn’t let that bother him…he just came up with a new plan and when Sarah turned around, he was down on one knee.

I am excited to be a part of their wedding next summer.  A couple weekends ago we headed out to Chagrin Falls (where Matt grew up) and captured their engagement session.

John & Jennifer’s Fall Wedding in Aurora

I can’t help myself…I love fall weddings.  But, here in Ohio, you never know what you’re going to get.  Rain?  Snow?  90 degrees and storms?  Luckily, John and Jennifer were blessed with one of the most beautiful fall days for their equally beautiful fall wedding.  The temperature was perfect.  The leaves were beginning to change.  And the sky was a rich blue with amazing soft clouds.

They were married at St. Mary’s Church in Chardon and then we headed to Squire’s Castle (in the Cleveland MetroParks) for some fun with the Bridal Party.  The castle was surrounded though…so we had more fun in the surrounding park with the gorgeous colors.  The reception then followed at The Bertram Inn in Aurora.

The best part of the entire day really was this couple.  They are wonderful to be around and I felt so blessed to be a part of their day.

John & Jen, I sincerely wish you all the best.  You are both so kindhearted and nothing but a pleasure to be around.  Thank you!
