Brandon & Chelsea’s Cozy Winter Wedding in Akron

Chelsea and Brandon share a sincere love that made their wedding day uniquely precious. The Memorial Chapel in Akron was sunny and warm despite the freezing cold temperatures outside as this cute couple said their vows surrounded by the light of loving family and friends.  One of the things that really stood out about Chelsea and Brandon was their undeniable joy, not just about their wedding day, but even more about the marriage they were entering into. There was no doubt that this couple had prepared their hearts for what was in store after all the celebrating was over and their journey through life together began.

After a meaningful ceremony in Akron, we headed to Uniontown to the cozy and inviting Uniontown Park Community Center to begin the evening’s festivities. So many great little details were planned to make this night a whole lot of fun.  The hot chocolate bar, elaborate cookies, personalized mugs, festive lights, and cupcakes galore made everyone want to settle in and enjoy the party. A lot of touching stories were recounted, blessings were given, and a general sense of gratitude for all that had been experienced in life so far topped off a very special night.  I think all the adorable kids happily running around best reflected the tone of the day – contentment, joy, and pure love. We hope you experience bits and pieces of all those things everyday of your life together!

Mike & Alison’s Chenoweth Wedding

Alison is a good friend of my cousin and when she first contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was bummed because I was in a wedding on the same date.  I wish I could have been there but my second shooter, Christy, photographed the wedding for Mike & Alison and from these photographs I can tell it was a great time.

Christy shared this about their day: “Though they are hard core fans of rival football teams, Mike and Alison prove that love conquerors all! Also getting engaged during a live performance by The Cake Boss doesn’t hurt in getting things off to a good start! 🙂

Chenoweth Banquet Hall provided a beautiful setting for this loving couple to celebrate their marriage. We really appreciated what was shared about the two of them and their future relationship during the meaningful ceremony.  The fall colors were perfect outside on the golf course and Alison did a great job reflecting them with all her attention to detail inside.   It was obvious how much their friends and family had looked forward to this special day and we had fun watching everyone enjoy themselves and brave the freezing temperatures for this sweet bride and groom.

Mike and Alison, you spend most of your life caring for other people, so we hope you could see how loved you are by all who came for your special day.  You were one of the most relaxed couples to work with and I’m guessing that has something to do with all the support you had from your family and friends.  You guys definitely seemed to enjoy each other and your day and we hope that joy continues for many years! Congratulations”

Nate & Jessica’s Autumn Wedding in Akron

I have no internet today.  This whole week actually.  I am waiting patiently (O.K. not really) for the repair person to come out on Friday but I didn’t want to wait to share Nate & Jessica with you.  I only have a few minutes of wifi so I can’t type much but suffice it to say…the day was beautiful.  They were married at Chenoweth Banquet Hall in Akron.  I believe these images will speak for themselves.

Thank you Nate & Jessica.  Everything was wonderful and it was an honor to be a part of it.

Jim & Jessica’s Kent State Engagement Session

Jim proposed this past summer in Soana Island, Punta Cana and of course Jessica said yes.  They are getting married at Gervasi Vineyard next fall and I can’t wait to be there to capture it.  If it’s anything like their engagement session, the photographs will be gorgeous.

As proud Kent State graduates, Jim & Jessica knew their engagement session should be there.  They met at Mugs so we started the session with the bar’s awning in the background.  As we walked from place to place, it was fun hearing them both relive moments from their college days.

The weather was cold and rainy but you’d never know it from these photos.  See for yourself…
