I just wanted to take a moment to share something from January’s Photography Class. I loved the women who took the class. It was such a blast seeing them each week and watching their photography skills grow. Here is a photo taken by Valerie of Valerie A. Heck Esmont , a jewelry blog where she shares all types of interesting jewelry, inspiration, and more.
Here is a photo Valerie
took toward the beginning of class. (Not bad, but lacking in depth and a bit dull.)
And is an example of the photos she is taking now:
Amazing, isn’t it? I’d like to take all the credit, but Valerie worked very hard to really learn her camera and is now doing amazing things with it. Actually, all the women are.
Another student, Deb agreed to share what she thought of the class:
“I had purchased a nice camera several years ago and found it perfectly confusing to learn how to use all of the functions. I would only shoot in “auto” mode since the buttons and functions intimidated me. After attending Amy’s basic photography classes, I now have a friendly and working relationship with my camera! Amy taught me how to shoot in “manual” mode, which gives me total control over each exposure and the creativity my pictures were lacking in “auto” only mode. Amy’s experience and knowledge as a professional photographer brought so much value to her instructions. Not only did I learn the functions on my camera, but I also learned about lighting, composition, Photoshop Elements, storing digital photos, and much more. I looked forward to the photography assignments each week because it encouraged me to put into practice what we discussed during class and gave me the opportunity to get expert advice and critiquing from Amy. I feel this class is a must for a beginner who wants to take their creativity to the next level!”
Anyone interested in taking the class can e-mail me and request information.
