I met Melissa three years ago. You may remember her little cutie’s photos from summer. We scheduled one last session just before Christmas to capture her three girl’s together. Sadly, they are soon moving but I am so glad to have been able to spend a little extra time with her these last couple weeks before they pack up and move across the nation.
Most of Ohio may not even realize it, but we are losing one of the best jewelry designers and teachers around. You’d never know it to meet her since she is so down-to-earth but Melissa has a huge following among jewelers worldwide. And there’s no question why. Her designs are incredible and her technique is flawless. Her work has been featured in articles and she is currently working on a book. I was fortunate enough to take a jewelry class last week from Melissa and have been wearing my bracelet all week. I’ll miss them but am excited for
their new adventure and happy to have met them all.

What great pictures!
Amy,
These turned out just wonderfully! You did a fantastic job. I love the “realness” you got with Kiari as well. Particularly since the screaming picture of her pretty much sums up her attitude for the evening.
I will miss you too and I am so glad that you contacted me 3 years ago.
~Melissa~
Thanks to both of you! And Melissa, me too!
